Dominique Denman

Dominique Denman is Co-founder of DTEG, Inc. Her experience in music and entertainment began at an early age. A native of Houston, Texas, she began singing at the age of five in the church choir. Dominique attended Houston’s famous High School for the Performing and Visual Arts focusing her studies on vocal performance. Following graduation, Dominique was accepted at Texas Southern University. While at Texas Southern, Dominique developed a bond with famed Opera singer Bernadine Oliphint. It was this bond that allowed Dominique to hone her classical singing skills. Dominique graduated from Texas Southern University with a major in Vocal Music Performance and a minor in Education. She was also on the National Dean’s List. Her focus shifted between Classical, Gospel, Jazz & Big Band, Pop and Broadway musical styles.
Upon completion of her studies, Dominique joined the Houston Grand Opera and performed in various productions as a member of their Chorus as well as "bit roles". She also became a teacher and taught in public and private schools. In her spare time she developed her skills of choral directing and served as director of choirs at several churches in the Houston area over a period of 8 years. Her gift allowed her to work with singers of all ages and she continues to do so at the Fountain Spring Baptist Church in the Bronx, NY.
Dominique also embraced her love of the Theatre. She received rave reviews for her performance in the Fat’s Waller Musical “Ain’t Misbehavin”. Other productions include Don’t Bother Me I Can’t Cope, Pippin, A Raisin in the Sun, Dreamgirls and Guys and Dolls. Ms. Denman’s additional work in the theater includes stage management, properties management, producing, directing, lighting technician, wardrobe and make up.
Dominique’s talent has taken her to stages throughout England, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Japan, Mexico, and South America. She has toured and performed with the World Famous Harlem Gospel Choir, Glory Gospel Choir and currently the Harlem Messengers where she also serves as Company Manager. She has performed under the direction or shared the stage with such greats as Walter Hawkins, Tramaine Hawkins, Yolanda Adams, V. Michael McKay, John P. Kee, Brenda Waters, Donald Lawrence, Kenton Rogers, Anthony Hamilton, Florence and the Machine, Stephanie Mills, Freddy Jackson, BeBe Winans, Valerie Simpson and Stevie Wonder.
Dominique has served in the following capacities and performed the duties of Administrative Assistant, Tour Manager, Road Manager, Personal Assistant, Production Assistant, Musical Director, Product Manager, Marketing Specialist, Artist Development, Finance Supervisor, Business Affairs Manager, and A&R.
Miss Denman is an Ordained Minister and currently pursuing a Masters of Theology. She is an active part of the ministerial body at Rivers at Rehoboth in Manhattan.
